E-Tricycles, Stable & Versatile

Our cargo tricycle with 500 kg payload capacity and passenger tricycle seating 2 to 6 passengers are purpose-built for these markets. Both platforms feature a reinforced steel tube chassis with rust-inhibiting primer, leaf-spring rear suspension for unpaved and potholed roads, 60V to 72V battery systems rated for ambient temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius, and hydraulic drum brakes that perform reliably in dusty conditions where disc brakes would require excessive maintenance. These two platforms represent approximately 85% of our tricycle export volume. The cargo trike dominates logistics and agricultural goods movement, while the passenger trike — available with weather canopy and side curtains — is widely used for taxi and shuttle services across East Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Standard documentation includes CE marking, EN 15194 certification (where applicable for pedelec-assisted configurations), UN 38.3 battery transport test reports, and ISO 9001 factory certification. We also provide Certificate of Origin documentation — Form E for ASEAN member states and Form A for African and least-developed country destinations — to support preferential tariff applications under respective free trade agreements. For markets requiring additional certification such as SONCAP (Nigeria), PVOC (Kenya), or SABER (Saudi Arabia), we coordinate with the accredited third-party testing laboratory and include the certificate cost in your quotation. All documentation is available in English and French as standard.

MOQ is 30 units for standard platform configurations using our existing body types (flatbed cargo, enclosed cargo box, or passenger cabin). Custom body configurations — such as a refrigerated box for cold-chain delivery, an enclosed passenger cabin with specific window and door layout, or a custom seating arrangement — require a 50-unit minimum. Tooling for fully custom rear body modules typically costs USD 2,000 to 5,000 one-time, depending on panel count and complexity, amortised across the first production run. Lead time is 20 to 30 days from deposit for standard configurations, with an additional 10 to 15 days for custom body tooling and first-article approval.
