Corrugated Master Carton
7-layer BC-flute corrugated board with burst strength of 1,200 kPa minimum. Each carton is printed with handling symbols (this way up, keep dry, fragile), your SKU barcode, and the unit serial number. Stacking tested to 5 cartons high — equivalent to a 2.4 m container stack under transit vibration.
PE Foam Cushioning
30 mm custom-molded closed-cell PE foam with 85% frame surface coverage. Density of 28 kg/m³ provides progressive shock absorption: 45G peak deceleration at 1.2 m drop. Handlebar, pedals, and display are individually wrapped in 2 mm EPE film before the main foam shell closes around the frame.
Moisture Barrier Bag
150 µm PE + aluminum laminate bag with heat-sealed closure. Each bag includes a 50 g silica gel desiccant pack that maintains <40% internal RH for the duration of sea transit. Battery terminals are capped with insulating covers before bagging to prevent any possibility of short-circuit during handling.
Steel-Reinforced Pallet
1,100 x 1,100 mm four-way entry pallet with steel corner reinforcements rated to 1,200 kg static load. A typical e-bike model loads 54 units per pallet in a 3-layer x 18-unit configuration. Pallets are stretch-wrapped with 80 µm LLDPE film under 250% pre-stretch tension and secured with PET strapping at 450 kg break strength.
Three Ways to Move Your Inventory
Sea Freight
Full container load (FCL) in 20GP or 40HQ containers — a 20GP typically holds 42 e-bike units partially disassembled (handlebar removed, pedals unthreaded, front wheel off). Less-than-container load (LCL) consolidation available for trial orders of 10-20 units. Transit from Yantian port to major destinations: 22-35 days depending on route. All lithium batteries shipped under UN 3480 Class 9 dangerous goods declaration with MSDS and UN 38.3 test summary included in the shipping docs.
Air Freight
5-8 days door-to-door from Shenzhen Bao'an International (SZX) via major cargo carriers. Suitable for samples, trade show units, or urgent top-up orders. Maximum 12 units per air pallet due to weight constraints — typical per-unit air freight cost is 4-6x sea freight on a per-kg basis. Battery packs must be shipped at <30% state of charge per IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Section II of PI 965/966/967. We handle the DG declaration and airline approval process on your behalf.
Express Courier
DHL, UPS, or FedEx door-to-door in 3-5 business days for single-unit samples or documentation packages. Customs clearance is included in the courier service — your unit arrives with duties and taxes either prepaid or billed to your account depending on your preference. Maximum package weight 70 kg per piece; a single e-bike in its export carton typically weighs 28-32 kg. Tracking number provided same-day as pickup from our Bao'an facility.

6 Steps from Order to Shipment
Proforma Invoice
We issue a detailed PI with itemized unit pricing, packaging specification, payment terms (T/T 30% deposit, 70% before shipment), delivery terms (FOB/CIF/DDP), and estimated production lead time. PI is valid for 30 days.
UN 38.3 Documentation
Our compliance team prepares the battery test summary per UN Manual of Tests and Criteria Part III subsection 38.3. This document is required by all ocean carriers for Class 9 dangerous goods booking. We also prepare the MSDS and DG declaration form.
Production & Packing
Your order enters our production schedule with a confirmed completion date. Weekly progress updates with QC checkpoint photos shared via email or WeChat. Packing photos — carton numbers, pallet configurations, container loading plan — are sent before the container arrives.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or your nominated inspector) conducted at our facility. AQL 2.5 Level II sampling with functional testing on sampled units. Inspection report shared within 24 hours. Any non-conformities corrected before container loading.
Booking & Container Loading
We book the vessel with our freight forwarder, confirm the sailing schedule and cut-off date, and load the container at our Bao'an facility under CCTV recording. Container seal number is photographed and shared with you before the truck departs for Yantian port.
Customs Clearance Docs
Within 48 hours of vessel departure, we release the full shipping document package: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (B/L), certificate of origin (Form E for ASEAN, Form A for EU GSP where applicable), and any market-specific certificates (EN 15194, UL 2849, CE DoC).
FOB, CIF, or DDP — Your Choice
FOB Shenzhen
You pay the product cost plus local charges (customs declaration, THC, documentation). We handle export clearance and deliver your goods to the Yantian or Shekou container terminal. You nominate your own freight forwarder and pay ocean freight and destination charges directly. Best for experienced importers who have an existing freight forwarder relationship and want maximum control over shipping costs. Example: a 20GP with 42 e-bikes units at FOB Shenzhen — you pay the unit price x 42 plus approximately $380 in local port charges; you then pay your forwarder directly for ocean freight (typically $2,100-2,800 to Rotterdam depending on season).
CIF Destination Port
We include the product cost, export clearance, and ocean freight to your named destination port in a single CIF price. We book the vessel and pay the freight — you handle import customs clearance, duties, and inland trucking at destination. Best for buyers who want a simplified transaction without managing the freight booking process. Example: CIF Rotterdam for the same 42-unit 20GP — one per-unit price covers the bike, export docs, and ocean freight. You pay import duty (typically 6% on e-bikes under HS 8711.60 in the EU) and arrange trucking from Rotterdam port to your warehouse.
DDP Door-to-Door
We handle everything: product, export clearance, ocean freight, import customs clearance, import duties and VAT, and final delivery to your warehouse address. You receive a single DDP price per unit — the goods arrive at your door with all taxes paid. Available to most EU countries, UK, and select markets where we maintain customs broker relationships. Best for first-time importers or buyers who want a fully de-risked transaction. Example: DDP to your warehouse in Frankfurt — the per-unit price includes the e-bike, all freight, EU import duty, 19% German VAT, and truck delivery to your specified address. Nothing to pay on arrival.

A 20GP container typically holds 42 e-bike units partially disassembled or 60-80 e-scooter units depending on model dimensions. Dangerous goods surcharge for lithium battery shipments (Class 9 UN 3480) adds approximately $250-$400 per container, included in the above ranges. 40HQ containers hold approximately 90 e-bike units with proportional freight rates (typically 1.6x the 20GP rate, not 2x). LCL consolidation is available for trial orders of 10-20 units at approximately $120-$180 per cubic meter depending on destination.
